    d2 spark plug leads

Does anyone know any tricks for replacing spark plug leads without dismantling the upper manifold??

I am amazed at how inconvenient it is to do this in situ. particularly lead 6!!!!

I can get my hand in but there is no room to flex or grip or...
and all this while standing on a box to reach it.

    Any hints would be appreciated.

Mate - how many miles has yours got on those set of leads as a matter of interest? Do you have a miss under load?

As for getting to coil packs do a search of leads and coil packs on Discoweb.org - there are threads there with pics from memory of how to do it without dismantling everything (it helps to have hands like a kid though )

    Cheers

    ignition leads

The disco is 2001 and has done 110 thousand. I guess the leads are original, they sure look tatty, but I have just recently got the vehicle so am not sure.

I found 2 crook leads, and had an intermittent miss under load.
Mostly noticed missing under load at about 2000rpm. Idle was ok.
