These should clear easily. They're only just over standard.
Gedday,
Does anyone out there have the D2 turning circle mod (shortened bump stops) and are also running the 245/70R16 tyre size - particularly the Bridgstone D694 duelers?
Just wanted to know if the tyres scrub at full lock with the short bump stops.
Don't really want to put washers in (or worse the old stops) if I can help it because the turning circle is oh so nice.
Thanks and Cheers
Peter

I have heard about this once before but never looked into it...what is the mod. Does it have an disadvantages? I run 265/70/16 so I might be pushing it If my tyres had more turn.
Cheers
All the D2's were fitted with the one size steering lock,,
these were only needed if you owned the 18" wheel versions,
there is a GOOD benefit (unless you have 18's) to be had by shortening the locks by 5mm

Thanks very much Pedro. I have never looked at them. Are they a wind in or are they a cut off jobbie?
Cheers
PS. I have the 16's
I want to turn mine down on a lathe,,
but people cut'em off with a hacksaw with no ill-effect,,
you can BUY the right ones from LR for around $50![]()
