I've noticed this post on UK forums too. Where exactly are you located David? You've omitted that bit from your profile.
Frankly I think the only person to benefit from any legal action will be some lawyer who only drives a Rangie around Chelsea, Toorak or where ever in the world he happens to be. I agree with Dobbo (and I've had one fail!), waste of time.
He's UK based I would say as he has the prices in UK pounds.
I agree with Dobbo, Tombie , etc.. and dont think you have a chance. I am not even going to say good luck as I think the idea of claiming is ridiculous in all honesty.
I would say unless the car has been owned by you from new, and is still under the manufacturers warranty, with a full daler history, you will be laughed out of court.
IMHO, this is straight forward. It means that it is not re-greasable and the lubrication at manufacture is suitable for the life of the component.Quote:
