cracks in rear dust brake covers

    Hey All

Anyone else have problems with their rear dust covers for the brakes developing cracks around the mount bolts? I have replaced two already and it keeps on happening.

Anyone got a good suggestion on how to avoid this (apart from taking them off)? I tried larger washers as well but they only seems to fit on the middle bolt.

I think this is fairly standard on the D2. I've had all of mine removed - front aswell.

Do a search as there was a thread about them recently,i think they are also callad backing plates.
