How to check D2 axle breathers for blockage?
Hi Everyone.
I was underneath my TD5 today fitting my new brass filler plug to the rear diff. I had a look at the point the axle breather attaches to the axle with a view to checking for blockage. It doesn't look like any sort of fastener is involved. Could the breather just be some kind of push-fit into the axle?
I was going to just remove the axle end and make sure I could blow through the tube. Not very sophisticated but it's all I can think of doing, if I could get the end out.
Can anyone advise me on this?
Cheers
Andy

On the D2 it seems to just go into a fitting that is flush with the axle. There is nothing to put a spanner on.
