That reminds me - I bumped into a very pretty blonde woman who was over the moon with her "new" Discovery in Surrey Hills the other day. Monte Carlo blue '03 D2 Td5 automatic with color coded sahara bar - what are the chances Derek?

Sounds like it might have sold then. But I don't remember it having a pretty blonde as an accessory when I traded it in Do you think its gone to a new life as a Toorak Tractor or will we see it on the forum?

Yeah the Sahara bars do look good and you can even get them to fit the earlier D2s with a bit of modificiation. I still like the std bar though as the added side bars have saved me on a few occasions.

Got it for $1950 fitted with colour coding, they retail at close to $2100 these days. The deluxe bar was about $200 cheaper, but I never liked the tubing the goes through the middle and slightly obstructs the highbeam, apparently you can't remove it as its structural...and I've always wanted to get the sahara anyway
