There are 2 screws behind each of the coin and ash trays, so its easy to remove.
After my 2 year old finnished checking out all the buttons, switches and dials of our 03 TD5 disco, I have been left with a broken cup holder in the dash. I think the return spring has come off and was wondering if anybody knows an easy way to remove/fix this before I start pulling the dash apart.
Regards
Chook

You may find the return spring has dislodged but I'd suspect it has broken the retaining clip. As mentioned undo the 2 (or is it 4) screws and remove, its a fiddly thing to get right and slide back in.

Hi Chook,
As said before there are 3 screws tucked in behind the ash tray and coin tray. Remove these and the whole unit will come out. The springs do quite often dislodge, but sometimes the small plastic tab breaks.
If you have to buy another dash cup holder, Series 1 and Series 2 Discos are the same other then the little 'pic' on the front.
Good luck
Erich
there were cup holders in my series 1??
oh, right.
after the dash went black.
