Thread: Mounting H/Lift jack on Wheel Carrier

No prizes to guess what this question is about.

I was thinkinf of mounting my High lift jack on the wheel carrier, like I used to do on my onld Lancruiser.

Has anyone done this and does it carry well, no strange noises or negative aspects? I am hoping the find a mounting bracket at ARB.

If I do this, is the there any market for the stainless steel wheel cover? The Disk thingy is a bit faded and dull. It more an issue with storing it. I seem to have way to much junk around to warrant keeping it.

BTW: Only bought this car second hand a month ago, and am pleased to find a brand new, never driven on michelin tyre on the spare

I am also looking at the half cab roof rack from ARB to sit ont he factory roof rails. I only need to carry two swags and a coupel fo folding chairs. Anyone have any comments of that approach? Qiuckly before I go an get it?

dont waste you time with them, they told me yeah it fits a d2 with mags no ****ing chance when i got it and dont answer phone or respond to emails waste of time and 100 bucks
