    UNFOLDING REAR SEAT

    Hi
    We have a 2004 TD% with leather seats and I folded down the singel (left side) rear seat and now it won't un-fold, go upright.

    It seems that a lock of some kind is in the way, but I cant see anything.

    I currently have the seat out at the moment

    Can any one suggest what may be the fix so it can be used?

    Hi Hay Ewe,
    Try grabbing the strap at the rear that you would normally lift, to fold the seat up off the floor & apply pressure down towards the floor. I had this with mine & the spring lost a little tension & would not return down far enough & the seat thought it wasnt in the correct position.

    yep, that worked - I dont know why I didnt make that happen earlier....
    just need to jiggle the strap downwards thats all
