Removing the trans tunnel cover in D2....easy?

I am re-wiring my winch this weekend so that all the control switches are in cab. Using a total of 3 toggle switches to control my winch and was thinking I may try and mount them next to the gear levers or next to the window switches. Perhaps in the small gap next to the low range lever on the driver side.

Wondering firstly how hard it is to remove the tunnel cover to take a look and asses how much space I have and secondly, has anyone done something similar and can offer some advice? Other option is to run the switches next to the window buttons but will come down to space behind for switches and wiring.

Or was originally going to mount to a dash pod (which I have not made/sourced yet) but that may not be necessary at this stage.

    G'day Mick,
Is this the kind of thing you were after?
(make sure you scroll through for ALL the photos)
I found it whilst looking for solutions for a CDL actuator...

Well, 1 toggle to make the system "live", 1 toggle mom off mom to spool winch in and out and 1 toggle to switch between external hand controller or wireless controller. Perhaps a bit of over kill but this set up should give me options for all occasions System will be isolated as well for safety.
