    D1 and D2 Alpine windows

Wanna do some paint repairs and some rust prevention on my roof early next year and think that pulling the Alpines out would be a good idea. The only thing though is that Id' like to update the rubbers to D2 ones instead of the old Morris Minoresque ones in there. Is it just different rubbers or are the windows different too?

The D2 windows are not attached with a rubber seal as in the case of the D1The D2 windows are glued in similarly to the Windscreen.

    Different windows altogethor.
The D1 uses seals to hold them in place.
The D2 are siliconed in & dont use rubber seals. (Need to be cut out)
The D2 windows are also slightly bigger.
    Cheers

    Figured they were. Cheers

Noticed you have a few D2 bits on eBay. What would these windows be worth?

If that's the case, I'd be keeping the original style rubbers .
My MM has 60 YO rubbers that are still nice & supple .
