    Discovery Wreck pricing

Does any one have a ruff idea what wrecked DiscoI and II's are going for at the wreck auctions? I know it is dependent on wether it is a statutory or repairable write off and condition, but a ruff price range would be helpful.
    Thanks

    It would, wouldn't it.

Especially a 300Tdi auto (i want the gearbox and ancillaries but only if the price is right!)
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Depends on the panel damage. This is where wreckers make their money, used body bits for insurance repairs.

Hi, depends on mainly kms and condition. A repairable write off Series2 went for $10,000 this morning at Pickles in Melb. Some are not worth bidding on while the good ones bring good money

A 120,000km D1 V8 will still bring in excess of $2,000, with good diesels even higher. Some high kms D1's bring well under $1,000.

Is the auto on a high kms D1 likely to be any good.

How long is a piece of string?

    You got a 50/50 chance........it's either not too bad...........or it's shagged.

98 Tdi auto went for $2700 yesterday (bad repairable write off). I went to $1500, would have gone to $2000 maybe .

Also, at the same auction, an undamaged P38 went for $2500 .
