Removing the trim around 3rd Row Head rests

    Hi Guys,

I am trying to remove the piece of plastic trim against the headlining between the 3rd Row head rests. ( Disco 2A)

The Rave manual seems to indicate that it slides in at the top and sort of rolls down and pushed into place. So I though by holding the bottom edge and pulling back and up it should come free.

    Mine doesn't want to budge.

Does anyone know how it's held in there?.... I really want to avoid breaking it if i can......

Is there some trick to it ......or am I just being too girly and simply need to give it a good tug....

umm .. for want of a better phrase...

Mark, we've got 03, but 5 seats. Are you talking about the headliner trim near alpine windows, or something else? If you are, can help.

I know that it may seem like it will break - but it's a tough pull, just gently prise it with your fingers and it suddenly lets go,

I removed mine some time back to add some wiring for wireless headphone receiver (wires for wireless - figure that )

It's the trim at the head lining near the back door.

I'll follow ladas guidance and pull a bit harder.. thanks...

    Thanks Ladas...

All sorted.. I WAS just being too girly after all !

I'm mounting some switches up there... I 'm working on cabling for the compressor I'm mounting in the rear guard and also I will need a switch for rear work light.

I figured a couple of rocker switches mounted into that panel will be nice and neat and not get in the way loading or unloading as well as being accessible with the back completely loaded on a big trip.

    Thanks again,
