The walbro GSS340 or 341 or 342 would fit the bill as far as performance, but You would have to fit it into the assembly. This is not usually too difficult as most fuel pumps are a similar size.

However I have never seen the setup in a D2 with the regulator in the tank.
    Specialists do not know everything.

You have to be interested enough in saving the money, and pretty dextrous to fiddle around.

Can somone post a picture of the D2 setup? Is it just a pump with a regulator on top?
    Regards Philip A
Hi Phillip, The biggest obstacle with these is that you have to cut the nylon housing apart to get at the pump and filter etc. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!

The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

    Hi JB,

The car still makes the noise from time to time, but does not seem to be an issue (except for passengers who wonder who is honking). I am happy to live with it. If it is the ACE, it is not affecting its performance, and I would rather leave that system sealed, and if it is the fuel pump, it again is not affecting its performance as far as I can tell. So I am going to leave well enough alone.

    Cheers,

    Terry

Hi, unfortunately not a very useful post other than to mention that I too have had that faint, and I mean very faint sound intermittently from the rear.

I'm not overly concerned about it at the moment as I have other things to sort out. Would be interested to know how you go though... maybe this might be an intersting poll just to see how many of us out there have heard this 'sound'.. i'm in a D2 S2..

    cheers

    Lp

    Smile Fuel pump noise

Hello all, I believe the noise is the fuel filler cap venting pressure
