    Smokeys First Mods...Whoo Hoo

    G'day All,

Very happy chappy here. Got up early as Pete (PSimpson) was here at 7am...bundled kids into car and headed over to Justins ( Dranged). Let me say first and foremost a huge thank you for their expertise and efforts in putting sliders and doing the lift on my D2. They have done an excellent job and I am lucky to have good mates such as them . Now onto Stevo's useless as tits on a bull tute....( Pete will most likely do a professional version later ).

Ok...first thing you do...is if you have no mechanical apptitude...make sure you know people who do

    Sliders went on first:

Next was onto the front springs and shocks...check out the equipment

Discussion being held as to where, why and what:

Justin doing something with a huge bloody thingamajig:

Holy crap bat man...its a flying D2 , not useful info to be sure

Pete working on rear shocks and lift kit:

Now at this stage of the tute...some of you maybe wondering...Wheres Stevo......well Stevo was doing what Stevo does best

Oh and I did cook up lunch....after Katherine started it

    End result

Now to add tyres on Monday and voila.....am very happy with what Justin and Pete have done. Again...a huge thanks for the work done and I am just that bit more manly from what I have learnt today .

    Regards

    Stevo

P.S. PLease excuse quality of pics..they are off my phone.

Hey Tim..I got Dobinson shocks all round and Dobinson springs at the front...plus SLS lift kit from 4X4 Intelligence. Makes a difference to the ride...much firmer..I like it ,
