which d1 parts can be used on a d2?

hi
i have a few doubts there.

the d2 seems to be a longer in the rear. the boot seems to extend a few inches longer.
does that come in the way of upwards incline?

one thing i realised though, is the d2 seems about the same height as m lifted d1!

did they lift the standard height?
i have wheels which "just" fit my3 inch lifted d1, and seem like they will fit my d2 without lift
