    Will it Fit?

There is an ARB non winch bar for sale, Supposed to be for a 2003 D2. Is this compatable (presumably with a little work) for the 99-02 D2. ARB apparantly think not.

    cheers, Nick

Its the body trimmings where it should meet the deck of the bar that make it not fit. You can chop and change the trimmings to make it fit. I'm prety sure Sneigy did a write up on fitting a D2 MY03 Sahara bar to a pre upgrade D2.
    Cheers

I a D2a ARB non winch bar sitting on my garage floor at the moment if you want to take a closer look to see just what issues are involved. Am planning to fit it myself eventually.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking Slunnie. All other things being equal should'nt be a problem. Obviously the guy who owns it has not checked here as he is selling it due to its inability to fit on a 2000 D2.

Thanks Pete, could be round for a sticky beak.

    cheers, Nick.

The question has been answered but the way I look at it is if the chassis rails are the same (i.e same size and same distance apart) then it will fit although some other minor modsto trims and panel may be required.

I have a rangie bar on my disco 1, and it is a great fit.

If one was to purchase said bullbar, how would one get it down to Sydney?

For $250 it's probably worthwhile driving all that way to pick it up !!

...And I have a D1 Winch bar on a RR LSE and it fits like a glove, even the guards look like the bar was made for it!
