    Goodyear MTR 265/75 Tyre Pressures

    G'day All,

Who of you have run these tyres and what pressures have you had them at to get the most comfortable on road ride and optimal (read least) tyre wear?

    Thanks in advance,

    Cheers,

    Hi Franz,

    I ran mine at 40psi.

Good wear pattern & also good for fuel economy.

    Take care.

40Psi front and rear No load

42Psi Front 46Psi Rear Fully Loaded

Ive done 60,000 Kms and have lost less than a third tread depth

    I should mention its a D2 with 2in lift

Just note.. Tread wear is not linear...

Initial wear would be minimal, and will increase as the tyre ages in an increasing amount...

So would 40 psi unladen be applicable to all A/T type tyres on the road?
    Thanks Lionel.

Pressure will vary depending on the tyre.

The MTRs like to be run at approx 5-6psi more than a regular tyre of the same size.

My last set were BFG MT's in the same size and they were most comfortable @ 34 psi front & 38psi rear. They lasted for 6 years and still have some tread (although they were not used all the time - only for trips)

    Cheers,

    Franz
