A Discovery I found for sale

Today while driving around Rockingham I saw a 2004 Land Rover Discovery Series II Silver 4 Speed Automatic Wagon for sale at the Nissan Dealership Rockingham Nissan.

It is sold pending financing. I am hoping it falls thropugh for this person. They are asking $22,990 104k km vin SALLTGM234A860843.

Does anyone have any advice on this model?

I am currently driving a 2000 Freelander petrol; which I am planning on trading in WE DONT SELL STUFF HERE. I want something more 4x4 capable.

    Thank you in advance.

They say its a "classic",, but with the rest of their mistakes who knows?

25K a year is a bit,, I'd probably be after one with less Ks,,

    should be a nice car,,

    PIC would help--

Only piece of advice to add is ..service history.

Make sure it has been serviced properly by Land Rover knowledgeable mechanics.

From the VIN : V8 Auto, 5 seater in Zambezi Silver with Black leather Interior and 18" alloys

I'm not sure of the prices up there... but I would agree with Pedro for that money and a V8 currently I think you could find a car with Less Km's

    Otherwise ....Silver DIIA...great choice

Well maybe I'm just slightly biased

Thank you for all the feed back. To me it didnt sound that bad after searching through autotrader online. I agree km could be a bit lower but my wife puts on 25-30k km a year.

It would be my daily drive as well. It looks in great shape. If the financing falls through for the person who has bought it I will take it for a test drive.....

Looking at it the miles are all road... it has wide street ti\yres....on fancy rims.... will definately need steel rims with a good set of off road rubber and the 2 inch lift I have been reading about in posts.

    Also the lpg conversion...

dont want to rain on your parade, but where can you find a decent 04 V8 disco for $14.5K.

A quick look on the intra webby thingo and they range from mid 20's to mid 30's and redbook (although not that reliable) starts them at around 20K for a private sale.

still a long way from 14.5k

I would jump at the chance to buy one for 14K, lotsa car for that money!
