Front went in easy enough, however because I had a ding in the front cross-member It won't bolt back into place (slight bend).

The rear went in even easier, the SLS kit from 4x4 intelligence has great instructions with it.

All up took about 5 hours, with the rear taking only 1 1/2 to fit kit and change shocks.

Spent about an hour on the cross-member and it was making me cross. gave up as I don't have a way to bend it at home. Might try to source a new or second hand one.

So now have Dobinson springs, Lovell shocks and Billy steering dampner.

    Drives like a new car.

Next is rear bar and snorkle as soon as I locate a template. Mind you looking at Trogs car I might rip his off and use his guard as a template.

OK will have to remember that in the future. (think it hit a nerve as I had been exercising the vocal cords at the children)

I was looking from my camera but one of my kids has hidden/used/not returned/who knows as it is a 7yo. And the last lot of photos I took were not flash (wife is the photographer in the family)

Wife can't tell the difference with the new springs, apart from the high drop out of the car, but I think it is softer with out the thump when hitting small bumps.

    Good work Danny.

Should have let me know you were going to fit it.
Still wouldn't have come over though as I was sunning myself on Moreton Island

Isn't Morton covered in oil? or so they say.....

Did you take all the plastic bags

I should drag up up to the north side where the rear bumper is being made

It goes like a rocket off the mark,& pulls up hills like a Mack truck, compared with what it used to be like.

Ummm, she did notice a fuel smell the other day when the plastic thingy broke off the bottom of the fuel filter

Didn't see any oil but then I never left Tangalooma. Did see lots of people in orange shirts from Skilled and Roadtec wandering around the resort. Also there were plenty of helicopters and news crews there. Watched a few live reports etc.
I got to see the portable dunny being flown over the island under a helcopter! That is not something you see every day

Where are you having the bumper made?
I'm having a few small things made up on the Northside too. In the workshop at work by me Gotta pass the time somehow.
