    fitted my uhf today

i fitted my uhf radio today and though you may be interested in how i did it

i fed all the wires through the side of the console to the main unit which is under the drivers seat

then found a suitable place in the firewall to feed the arial and power wires through refitting the rubber gromet after connecting

only having to drill 4 holes to hold the speaker and the small head unit

hopfully it stays there as it dosnt seem to interfear with anything and works a treat

I have a very similar setup, but i put the main unit in the fuse area under the steering wheel. Fastened it with screws to the dash frame for a snug and secure fit. I didn't bother with the external speaker as its in the main body and close to the driver anyway.
Here are some pics... sorry for the quality sorta took it in the dark on my phone.
    The face unit

    The main unit

Nice guys. I have mine fitted there as well...I find it a really good spot cause it keeps things out of the way.
