    New to disco ownership, Just wondering.....

    Hi, recently purchased a D2,just given it a 2" lift currently running 235/70/16 standard and was wondering what size I could put on eg 255/70/16's.

    265/75 16's should fit OK with a 2" lift, though someone like Slunnie will be able to tell you if theres anything else that needs to be done....Chris.

    Depends a little on what year it is. I have just done exactly the same mods on a 2000 D2. With the 265/75/16's you will experience some very minor rubbing on the front of the front weel wells. This only occurs on the outside wheel when turning. The lining of the guard at the front is very maleable so its not major, but I will probably cut a small section out to stop the noise.

    I suspect the Bumper etc on the 03-05 D2's is a little different, so may not be the same issue.

    The ideal tyre size for a D2 is 245/75/16, in what ever pattern you like, they don't rub anywhere.
