Hi Chucaro....
Hmmm not too bad.... 5 minutes for a bite :TakeABow:
Must confess though... would prefer a Defender myself but alas the wifes comfort keeps my ears healthy:bangin:

I found that on a trip to Flinders Ranges that in SA I got waved at all the time.
Other states not so...... Waving is sort of like the hobby of train spotting... It's not everyone's cup of tea:D
Hey every one just joined up im Tanks son, i drove my Stage 1 from Kalgoorlie West Aussie to the South Coast of NSW and from about Norsman to Ceduna almost every one waved to me even the truckies, lol maybe they new my pain, when ever i see another land rover i always wave
As a motorcyclist I am used to waving and get a reply quite often.
I see other Disco's around town VERY regularly and am driving a green D1 with a white roof and a roof rack and a winch bar and 15 steel wheels and a straight through exhaust (in other words it stands out a little) and never get acknowledged. I think maybe waving is a bit much in town but most drivers don't even acknowledge me so I wonder if they are enthusiasts or they drive a Disco for another reason? Given their quirks (the Disco), I think they must be enthusiasts.
Damian.
I must admit that I have become a Waver especily out In the bushes
In some ways It's like saying "hello" to a long lost "relo"
I enjoy the fact that we are all part of the wider "landy" family and not driving arround in boring/common Nissians and Toyotas
So I will be waving and given the chance saying hello to fellow family members
I did a trip Hawker in SA and everyone waved! I was in a Pootrol and they still waved! SA people are just friendlier I think. Now im in my own D1 I wave to just about every other Landy and majority reply. It makes the drive a little happier knowing you say g'day to a fellow owner! haha:p
But there is a lot of waving to be done around Port Macquarie, there are plenty of Disco's around.
Cheers,
Brenton
I cop the same from the the missus so I asked my mum, in front of my missus, does she wave to other Landies. God love her, she said she doesn't wave but she gives them a thumbs up ;) so if you get a thumbs up from an elderly lady in a bluey silver D1 just wave back.
Cheers,
Anthony.
I am a waver but do not get too many back.
I wave at all landys.
I waved at a series landy yeterday as i passed him on Hi-Way when i got beside him and he just looked at me strangely.
but i dont mind he will be thinking why did he wave so maybe next time he will wave.
SWMBO thinks i am a little nuts but is getting used to it.:D
cheers Allan
