Windscreen leak - silicone?
Our 2001 Disco II has a pretty decent leak. I'm pretty sure it's coming from around the top seal of the windscreen as on the drivers side there's a short section at the corner where the black seal has a small gap under the top side.
Sadly I've discovered our warranty doesn't cover water leaks. I'll see what our dealer can/will do (if anything). If no go there.. should I try a small amount of silicone? Is that going to cause any problems with paint or seals or anything?
Cheers

The D2 windscreen is bonded so the outside 'seals' are just finishers.
Try some windscreen sealant (stays soft) if you like but if it is the screen leaking, it might not be a permanent fix.

DO NOT use Silicon ... It is the worst item to use
Use proper windscreen sealants .. Sikaflex
The best way to fix it is to go to a Windscreen repairer / get them to pop the seals & reseal it ... otherwise you will be paying the panel beater to repair the rust
