    d2 to d1 doors

    hey all just want to know if the doors off a d2 would fit onto a 1996 d1

    Provisionally, no. Whilst they are very similar, I found that the D2 is a few mm different in shape to the D1. I found this out when I used D2 wind deflectors on my D1.

    No No no. Don't even entertain the thought. The D2 has more central locking issues than D1, and they are NOT interchangeable. The panel fit is way out, and the window regulators STILL fail

    There are only a few mm in it but don't bother. The top frames are also a slightly different shape.

    It is so close I am told the door seals are interchangable - but don't quote me.

    if thats the case how much for a pair of front door seals?? i may have to come for a drive on sunday in the ute
