Contacted Boss bags 1hr ago after reading this post and told them that a couple of non positive comments have been made. They told me that the mounting plates for the bags are ready tomorrow :eek:. There price also has changed from $100 per bag which I originally posted to between $550-650 (no comment) for the kit. The reason they gave was that there bag now has there name on it and they dont supply the other bag any more and the bags have a life time warranty (thought they did anyway).
I only bought the bags and made my own mounts, the system works well, but my only dealings is through purchasing bags.
Hope things work out quickly for people interested in extended bags and I hope that nobody is lead up the garden path.

Thanks for you efforts Baffle - no dramas for you part - your 'lead' and assistance is appreciated mate.
At $600 you can get Arnotts bags for half that price and spacer kits for less.
I hope Boss get their act together, but I don't see it happening - maybe tomorrow. ;)
