    Talking Re-bagging the d2 4"

Thought Id start a new thread.
Picked up the new bags today and after a bit of running around I started the first fitting of one late arvo, no time to clean the car.

Custom bags, The photo at compression measures 120mm,it has another 40mm to go so Ill put a top plate in 20mm, max compression is 80mm. this will give me good clearance around the bag too, Ill move the brackets out the way.
The photo at extension is max when the old bags were in, the bags will extend a further 130mm at least.
So if Im right my 4"lift will also give me at least 90 to 100mm more extension.
Could not properly test extension I have to pick up my car stands tomorrow for a bit of safety. The old bags compression was 140mm when the pistons touched each other.
    Any advice is much appriciated.

    ps Im wrapped

Very nice!!! I'll be watching and keen to hear how it all comes together and drives.

How/what/where/who etc etc etc with the custom air springs.
    Cheers

    Hey Slunnie!

you made a comment in another post on how the D3 air worked differently to the D2,,
it sounded at the time like "we" could just we-work the lines and make it perform better.

did you want to expand on your idea??

sorry Baffle,, it sort of fits together,,,
