I got an intermittent amber ACE warning light over a couple of days while we were up at Cape Trib last year, then it lit up hard and would not go off, even after restarting. When I had the problem diagnosed back in Sydney, the cause turned out to be that a rat had eaten the wiring in the engine bay. We knew it was a rat because the troublesome little beastie was still there. Maybe it choked on some of my loom. It was, at the end of the day, a well travelled rat.

    Cheers,
    Ed

Yep mine does it too about twice a year. It has done it from brand new with no error log to be found and only at 100km/h.

That about describes the frequency of Ace lights and speed.
The most recent one was at 80Km/h.
Still have to see if it happens again this winter.
