I used a couple of looong bolts through the forward crossbar of the factory roof bars, a single tiedown strap holds them firmly in place.
Quite easy to get on and off If needed[thumbsupbig]

while you have all that apart,, make sure--
the airbox is sealing and the duckbill works.
the trans cooler lines connection, solid to flex, are tight.
all your forward facing lights work.
