Thread: Water pump td5

Hi All,

My water pump is leaking on my TD5...... How long does it take to change and how many dollars am I looking at ??????

cost $60 AUS "ish" for an OEM pump (same as gen tbh) + 5 litres (min) of OAT coolant (no idea how much over there)

Time to do, well, if you follow the workshop manual and take the centrifuge off etc etc, then quite a while, if you cheat (and its dam fiddly) you can get the pump in and out with out taking much off at all.

I did mine in about 2 1/2 hours from start to finish.
