    D2 change from auto to manual

    Hi all.. can anyone tell me whether it is possible to change from an auto to manual gearbox. I have a 2001 D2 V8 .. If possible, any ideas on cost?

    Anything is possible, but unless you are going to do it yourself I think it would be very expensive.

    Off the top of my head you will need:

    Gearbox (R380)
    Flywheel and clutch
    Pedal Box
    ECU and loom
    Manual shifter and boot
    time and patience

    I think it would be much easier just to get a factory manual vehicle.

    It would be cheaper in more ways than one to just sell the vehicle and buy another one that is a manual.



    The costs in time and troubleshooting of intermittent problems with a conversion could be horrendous....
