Sorry guys but Wabco in Vic here while being the Australian Agent cannot get any spares for this compressor. I have travelled this road with John (Wabco Agent) to a dead end.

He may provide you details for BMI (British Motor Imports) who again cannot get individual components only the whole unit.

I left a couple of emails with Wabco in the US but have never had an answer.

If I could get a piston ring I have my old one up and running again in no time. Might have to reverse engineer one.

What I did get, not that it will help much, are the assembly drawings for the Compressor and Solenoid Valve. This is available on the Wabco web so not in breach of any IP.

I think you will be looking for replacement brushes once you see what the whole unit costs new

I never got the opportunity to look into where to get new brushes for mine even though they were worn right down....

My air intake hose came off mine and it ingested a heap of dirt, water and dust.... never stood a chance and sadly died.

    Piston rings are piston rings

You should be able to match your original with something. You just need to pick the right engine builder to source one.

I picked up a cheapy ($100) 2nd hand off ebay, supposedly off a low k, low use wrecker. Fingers crossed it's in "perfect working order" as described and guaranteed by the seller.
    Will know tomorrow

Land Rover as per usual would quote around $900
    Others have quoted around $840ish
But wait there's more.......best two deals I have found are.....

Jag Rover Spares said he could get me one (new) for $770 inc. GST
    or
Get it shipped from the usual Pommyland suppliers and landed for roughly $640ish (assuming the $AUD is .80cUS or .48Gbp)

In the meantime, C'mon Pedro....get us the name of the "compressor restorer"
