    TD5 intercooler

So, there are a bunch of ppl that offer td5 intercooler upgrades, and all seem to be around the same price $950-$1000. are there any that are better than others ? or are they all the same unit just supplied by different ppl so just get the cheapest one i can find ?

Gday Roscoe, just went thru this myself and deciced on the D2a intercooler as its supposedly 25-30% more capacity.I got afew other things with it ,radiator, silicoln hoses etc but think I paid $500 for it.
I havent fitted it all yet as im just back from working away, but hope to in the next few weeks...Hope this helps.
    Cheers Ean

Ive had a look at the "rice burner" Intercoolers on Ebay.
With custom plumbing it may be possible to mount a much larger intercooler in the grill void. What would be needed to investigate is will the extra bends in the plumbing negate the effects of such a big intercooler.

here's a slightly cheaper one that someone showed me. Same cooler you've seen everywhere online except only about $650
