IS IT AN OIL COOLER IN MY TD5???

Would anyone know what the cylindrical part is with water hoses on it too, located on the drivers side in the engine bay, it also has high pressure oil hoses on it as well, mine seems to be losing water from the front end, where a stainless type clamp sits.

    cheers

if what you're talking about is mounted below the inlet manifold and behind the alternator then its the fuel cooler, they arent hydraulic lines but fuel lines and cooling system hoses.

contact M R Automotive in redcliffe QLD they have kits to rebuild it (and I believe that its doable in situ.)

The O-rings leak. Someone posted to use BS226 Viton o-rings, available from bearing suppliers such as CBC. Someone else posted 55mm OD, 4mm cross-section.

BS 226, or 225 ? My previous searching suggested 225's, and I hope they are right because that is all I have for when I strip mine apart
