It does? Well, blow me down!
The ones that were on my '86 RR looked in remarkable shape when I sold it in 2002 - and the ones on my '95 RR look to be excellent, too.

Hi Guys,
I don't wish to start an argument by saying LR plastic is crappy, but when you look under my engine bay and see all the original split conduit has fallen to bits and the cooling system originally used some hard plastic lines that were just a time bomb waiting to happen, (let alone the top radiator hose that had a plastic bleed screw) you would probably have the same opinion. Maybe its just my Disco that is like this, but I know that one LR mechanic said to me to replace the hard plastic lines on the cooling system because they commonly fail. Compared with some Japanese plastics the LR ones are inferior. The diff breather lines aren't anything to sing about, the original question was whether the diff breather kit on ebay was suitable, at the end of the day if someone wants to spend money on the kit, why not? It would be an improvement to what is there at the moment.
Cheers Matt:)
Mine all go into a little manifold on the bulk head, then up the snorkel with 1x8mm pipe. Its only standard 6mm Nylon tubing, available from lots of places, and as mentioned earlier, use some 6mm push fit pneumatic fittings to add any new pipe to the existing runs.

It is DEF worth extending the rear axle breather either higher up the rear, or bring it fwd to the engine bay where the other 3 are as its only in the rear wheel arch,
hi
I have made up a similar kit to Panzar but looking at the breather on the rear diff, how do I connect it onto the diff, and for that matter the Tranny and the TFER case.
Cheers
Matt
Any attempt at improving the breathers is better than none. I only ventured into deep water 1m once and both diffs filled up. It took 3 changes to get rid of it. I will add a bit of airline to mine before we do the trip up north to gibb river road.
I am planning a trip up to Pebbly beach nth of coffs in 2 weeks and will be crossing creeks to get there. I want to bake sure my breathers are breathing.
just cant work out the best way to connect them.
cheers
Matt
