Just got a set of 3 Rhino HD bars that sit for the back 2 12mm above the roof and a lot more than that at the front one cause of the roof dip...it has a 1800 long extra large basket - looks the tits but rumbles like you have a drum kit on board (but distant - still a pain). I wonder if it is the basket or the front bar. The bar is just back from the rear of the sun roof. I will take off the huge basket and see what that does and then play with the front bar position cause it could go forward another 5 inches comfortably.

    Cheers

PS. I will take photos cause its all in black including the lader and on Bonati Grey and black TJM Bar it all look sweet!

I bought the Land Rover Roof Rack - RTC9539AC. No wind noise and weighs only 21kg. It has aluminium struts on a steel frame so capacity is limited to 50kg I think.

    do 210mm fit D2

Noticed in the rhino rack catalogue that they recommend the higher 280mm fitment of rhino racks h/duty on D2. does the 210mm fit. I measured a piece of wood across the top of the rear section of D2 with a drop to gutter of 240mm, so how do people fit the 210mm. I do like the closer to roof mount of the 210mm then the 280mm which is way to high ! thx

Mate - you have to shave the rear 2 uprights and also add plastic spacers to the top of the upright. Mine have sagged a tiny bit (normal) so I am going to shim it up with another (it has one already) 10mm spacer and see how that goes.

    Cheers
