Egr valve stuck closed fault on nanocom

I have a fault on my nanocom, egr stuck closed 20-05 fault that keeps on appearing on the nanocom, i have removed the egr and blocked the vacume lines, I have also plugged the sensor back inbut it still comes up. The unit also says idle speed error when I go through the ecu settings, seems like the idle is a bit high at times. I should mention that the ecu has been rechipped.
    Anyone got any ideas
    cheers Bronson

Ignore the removed EGR faults, mine lists 3 or 4 and its removed/blanked.
Ive just had mine chiped and it seems to idle faster,Nanocom is broken at the moment so cant say if its reporting an idle speed issue.

If you car is idling faster because of the chip, then its a poor job, or you have another issue that the chip has "highlighted" take it back and get it sorted!!

    Thumbs down

I'm pretty sure that there is definately no probs with the chipping, would anyone know what causes idle fluctuation and also what the idle speed error fault is on the nanocom.

Has it been colder than normal Bronson???
The ECU will give a higher idle speed until engine temp is reached then revert to normal.
Mine goes up to 950rpm when everything in frosty.

Hey landy Andy, yeah it has been chilly in melbourne, although I would expect better consistancy with the idle. I have found that it doesn't matter if the car is just started or sitting at the lights! There is definatley something goin on as it effects smooth exceleration. I would love to know what this " idle speed error" thing is on my nanocom
