Disco 2 cargo length
Hi everyone,
I need a new work car and I am thinking about a Disco 2, TD5 Manual. The only problem is I need to carry wooden stakes 900mm long. Will they fit lengthways in the back? I live in the country and haven't had a chance to measure one or find any specs on the net.
I have 20g to spend and would love an 03 or should I get an older one in better nic?
Thanks
Rob

Sorry 850 x @ 1150mm. (D2)
only a quick cheek, oh and the rear seats lean in to the cargo space as you go up.
Maybe angle them or across the back, dends on what else goes in there,
My stakes go in my fridge
. Not as tough to eat as wooden ones
.

Thanks a heap alien, that is so close damn. I will have to work out another way of carrying them, because I can't think of any other car I want. Maybe a P38A, but it will prob be a similar story with the cargo length.
Thanks again

why not get a rack like the arb tradie ones with open ends for carrying long items.
me i would prefer timber that length on the roof than in the cabin for my own safety.
cheers

Get them docked to 800mm and you wont have to belt them in as far
.
Think about the time saving
.
Then they'll fit
.
Cheers.

What if you took one or both of the cargo bins out of the back? Would that give you the required space?
