When I get back for the time and my Wallet recovers .... I'll be talking to you about an airbag lift kit...

I only put in springs for the remote stuff... the airbags are going back in.

    Cheers, Mark

    Interesting Thread

Looking at replacing coils in 2001 D2 TD5 approx 40/50mm lift

Any spring rate and brand recommendations out there???

for a TD5 with steel ARB Bar on front ( has dropped 10mm from original specs)

Coil Rear does tow 2tonne boat regularily - stabilty when towing is important

    sounds like 200lb fronts??
    300Lb rear??

was thinking Kings but open to suggestions

    appreciate comments

    G'day Nobby,

As you read I used Les Richmond springs - very happy with them.

I have an ARB winch bar and a magnum winch. In my opinion the 180lb on the front could be a bit heavier - but not much, so around 200lb sounds good.

The 320's in the rear of mine are perfect with the trailer on (a tonne and a bit).. but without the trailer would be too hard.

The guys at Les Richmond suggested 270lb before they knew about the trailer.

    I hope that helps...
