with mine i find sometime if i push the unlock a couple times on the key fob it will open , more often than not when i dont want it open though!

Just wondering if any one has rewired the fuel flap buton on their D2.
Don't like the idea off turning motor off as soon as I get to the bowser, particualy when traviling on the open road. Like the oil spinning in turbo when it's hot.
Mine won't work with ign. on, only off or acc..

The turbo stops abruptly when the engine is stopped if the engine is allowed to idle for even just a few seconds, so no harm done to the turbo bearings.
I back-off the throttle for half a km or so before stopping to take the edge off the exhaust temp to do my bit towards avoiding carboning-up the turbo oilways.

The switch provides an earth path to signal the BCU to provide an earth path to the solenoid. You would have to bypass the BCU and wire the switch directly to the solenoid.
