I just bought a set second hand from TRS & am finding it impossible to clean off the old adhesive residue from the original double sided tape.

I have tried, Prepsol, acetone, spraying thinners, general purpose thinnners, gun cleaning thinners, metho, turps.

    Any ideas?

I used eucalyptus oil and a scraper (sharpened screwdriver), then acetone to clean it up, absolute PITA job to do.

    Cheers Baz.

I will give it go, it is the first adhesive that I haven't been able to find a real solvent for.
