Radio Pin code, how to input

    Hi All

I know this has been done to death but I have searched and I am unable to work out how to actually input the code. Mine is a 2000 Disco with a Eurovox Model 5780RD
6 stack CD unit and I can find no reference to this model in the book on In car entertainment. The book references other units inputting the code one digit at a time via the up/down tuning buttons then locking it in by holding down the pre-set one button until you have the whole code entered. I have tried this but it does not work as the tuning button does not bring up any numbers at all. Really appreciate if some one can spell it out for me.

    Thanks Ken

From memory, the Eurovox codes are usually just entered via the preset buttons. The genuine handbook probably has references to the UK spec radio - the Eurovox is a local fit.
Are any of the code numbers greater than 6 ?

    Radio Pin code

    Hi Scott
THe pin code is a 4 digit number. Are you saying that all I have to do is enter the 4 numbers using the preselect channel keys?? I will give this a go in the morning and let you know.
    Thanks

    Yes.

Is any number higher than 6 ?
If not, then use the preset buttons.

If it goes over 6, enter then use up down arrows to change digit.

Do you have a picture of the face? This may help.

    Pin code entry.

    Hi All

Thanks again for your advice it was as simple as pressing the preset channel buttons. Pity Land Rover couldn't put that in plain language.

Your car would originally have come with a supplementry radio section that covered the Eurovox radio.
It would appear that all you have is the standard handbook that only has the UK spec radio (also fitted on the top spec Disco sold here) details.
