    Opinion wanted on TD5 for sale

    Wasn't planning to buy for 6 months or so, but...

    I dropped by Alto Landrover Artarmon (NSW) on the spur of the moment.

    They showed me a 2002, TD5 (I think the S variant) with 140,000km.
    6 months rego, 3month/5,000km dealer wty.
    Just been serviced by LandRover.
    Don't know if its an 02MY or MY2003
    Nudge bar
    LandRover tow ball.
    Looked stock standard.
    Metallic Paint - Navy Blue
    SALLTGM832A763254.
    Waiting to hear back re service history/log books. I didn't stay long as my 10month old was getting grumpy.


    $20,000.

    Should I offer them $15,000 cash?

    What questions would you ask?

    Someone else was going to buy it but their finance just fell through.

    Gee...never heard that before (I'm a real estate agent).

    Get it checked...the price isn't too bad..maybe $17 - $18k????
    Probably no CDL so keep that in mind.

    It's a 2002 MY so it won't have CDL.

    In 2002, there was a TL0 model (trim level zero) which had steel wheels as standard & was minus a few goodies too. As long as it's not one of these, you'd be doing very well for 15K.
