how is the CDL mechanism attached to the TC?

I have a 1999 D2 with an electrical CDL mechanism fitted that has recently stopped working.

I've checked the wiring and I'm getting +12v on both lock and unlock wires at the wiring harness at the mechanism.

I assume that the mechanism is faulty internally.

Can someone assist me with details on how the mechanism is attached to the front output housing on the LT230 TC?

Once I can get it off it should be relatively simple to sort out the fault.

You'll find it will be the electric motor that activates the Centre diff that has seized, AMV do a replacement for $170.

I'm assuming you have the AMV electric CDL actuator, they don't last very long, mine lasted 12mths.

That disc with the brass legs is bolted to the CDL spigot and the motor you see left of the disc turns the disc which activates the CDL, the brass leg in the centre is sitting over the spigot.
