$257.30 AUD for something that only clears and reads the 3 amigos, if you compare it to the Nanocom at $500 that does everything, not good value really.

This is true Baz, do you know if the nanocom is compatable with the V8's ? Because it is much better value.

As far as I know, no it won't, I think the Scanguage II works on the V8 but whether it does what the Nanocom does I don't know.

Maybe this Amigo thing may be a better option for the V8 owners.

Nanocom will NOT do any V8 engine stuff, but it should do ABS/BECM (keys etc) stuff because it's the samesame.

This was / has been asked before as I had stated the "body" systems are Identical so there should be no issue in it working, so...........

At a recent Land Rover show I met up with lots of people and one guy I chat to on regular occassions over the net etc..... and he has a "99" D2 V8 Manual, I posed the scenario to him and he had no issue with me trying my Nanocom, well, it worked first time, I talked / looked at the BCU, the SLABS etc, functioned exactly as it does on my TD5.
