    After the dust

I had to drive about 200kms in the dust yesterday & was wondering if I should clean my air filter.

    Can you clean them?

If so what's the best method?

Yep ... Undo the clips of the air box and remove the pad filter ... Install a new one

You could clean it with compressed air .... But new filter pads don't cost that much

Also noticed you want to do a lift ... do yourself a favour (when you do the lift) and take the tailshafts off (remove) and give them a once over inspection and grease up

You tap the rubber side against something gently, that will remove most of the dust, or you can use air, but if you do use air, keep the air about 30cm from the air filter otherwise you may damage the paper element.

Buy a new one, clean the old one to keep as a spare, they are cheap at $17ea.
