    Climate Control lost plot

    Hi gang

    Brand new member with Td5 series ii 116,000ks and have owned it for 6 months.
    Love the car but never get to drive it. About to drive to Clare from Melb and find that the Climate Control has lost it and blows only flat out and basically behaves as though it has lost the plot.

    I am suspicious that it is default mode as you can stop the fan if you have economy on, and adjust the fan manually.

    Can I reboot the CC system?

    Its worth checking to see if the windscreen demist button has been pressed(the one next to EXT temp) It will make the CC run at full blast on the windscreen.

    As it develops, the fan is now on full or not.(when econ is on in Auto the fan can be stopped). The demist puts it to the front. when you switch it off it diverts to what ever it wants but flat out.

    I tried to find the fault code checks but the link is gone unfortunetly.

    Perhaps anybody who knows the sequence to fault check the D2 Hevac via its display can post.

    I havent had chance to look at my RAVE disc but it will be in there.If you havent got a copy get one here http://www.davesitshop.com/davesitshop/ Its a must have,its an electronic workshop manual for Landrovers,you will need the D2 version,very handy.
