Well as someone else who has suffered a major breakdown on holidays I can fully appreciate what it is like

Hope it all gets patched up and just think how much better the next trip will be

I would try anything up there,as the nearest tilt tray is thousands of k's away
And so is anyone that you would trust to work on a landy.

That's only about the fifth or sixth or seventh .... D2 that I've heard about going home from holidays on the back of a tilt-tray.

I knew there was a reason that I had crossed a DII or TD5 off my shopping list!

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

I can highly recommend Kowari Motors in Weipa. They were exceptional. God only knows how, but they managed to overnight a radiator from one of the capitals IIRC.

I secretly think that you don't trust anything that was built within the last 30 years.

    Trans Cooler

The D2 is over at DPL as of yesterday. Needs a new box & radiator. Also having trans cooler fitted was told the MAF was not reading properly so that will be replaced also. Having the oil pump bolt checked as well as. I can't find any history of it being done. And a new injector loom that has been modified by DPL and his baffled rocker cover. So it is costing a bomb.
Answering your question about $900 for he trans cooler it looks the goods but
Also happy with the service and there attitude towards me, they seem pretty switched on out there.
    Cheers Wayne
