Damn Tyres again.
Well, after much research and heresay and "specialist advice" i really had trouble coming to a decision on new rubber for the D2. I have reviews and tyre dealers recommendations and forums threads etc. I have decided on Pirelli Scorpion A/T in 235/85 r 16 size. TD5 Auto with big intercooler and big exhaust and no egr etc.
I have 2" Lovels Lift on front and Tombeys beautifully machined aluminium spacers on rear SLS. Still casually touring round aus towing a small caravan doing mostly free camping and staying off the main thoroughfairs as much as possible. Planning on Cape York Tele track run August next year and hopefully these will be a good compromise tyre for good on-road stability while towing a van and a little bit of offroad ability for some occasional playing in the dirt.
Anyone got any blatent reasons i should not go get these in the next few days ?
