I'd buy Troutbeck over 4x4Intelligence any day as Len's always proved very helpful if you have any issues, something I've found lacking in some other businesses.

Very rough thing to say unless you have some specific justification! I've had nothing other than great service from these guys.

I like the look of the grahame cooper one the best simply because it looks strong and you loose bugger all clearance, diffs seem to be the first things to stop us around the Coffs harbour tracks

Well its the QT's front and rear for me,

I don't have many claim to fames, but one I do have is I was THE first to trial a Defender TD5 wrap around guard on my D2 as I really did not like the idea of welding the tabs on for the D2 one....was very happy when it fitted well. A fully bolt on solution is by far the best option imo.

Now QT sells that as an option I beleive, I know a couple of companies in the US do. It also provides a "slide" for the front, and a little bit of protection for the steering drag link.

As far as the rear goes, well QT again, using their "slider" one. Nice bit of kit tbh and been tested a LOT

Cannot compare these QT's with Aussie made stuff as I have not seen it, but I can say if you buy QT guards, you will not be dissapointed.

Got the QT too on the front, very good design, the only thing is that the guards wraps under the diff effectively lossing a smidgen of clearance. But great way it bolts on, no welding.

Support wise the Qt doesn't look strong enough to me.
Looks like it would fold back onto the diff at the front.

Trust me, if you see one in person, you will think again. They are very strong, and with the welded angle "bits" on the side, you would have to give it 1 hell of a wack to bend it + the top section of it is not really vunerable to damage as it sits above that "area".
